Well first the indomitable human spirit because even though many families here in America are going hungry we’ve still donated billions to help Haiti.

Second the power of social media site like Twitter and Facebook to give us the true story. The way the news has been reporting leaves out way too many details of what’s actually going on.

Third, the real time info and feedback from real people on these sites is invaluable and I’ve even been seeing more and more major news outlets citing tweets and Facebook status updates.

Since these types of communications are gaining in prominence you need to be using them in your business.

But you have to use them PROPERLY.

Done poorly or overly advertisingly (I just made that a word) it can hurt your reputation and far worse can people to stop listening to you.

My friend Chris Lang (and yes he is a true friend because I talk to him about 2 times per month on the phone for an hour) has been studying the use of the main social media tools in your business.

He tells me He’s going to have an announcement tommorow about using these tools for maximum profits.
