The Lawyer, The Witch, And a Startling Realization

This happened about 2 weeks ago.

Today I was scheduled to be in court at 8:30 a.m. in the morning. Due to some issues with my license I was going to have my lawyer pick me up and drive me there. This was to be a show of goodwill and I might have to testify I could say “no I’m not driving”.

And there were a couple of statutes that my lawyer found where it was going to require me to testify in order to win the case. So I agreed to do that.

So I wake up in the morning all ready to go and do some breathing exercises to stay calm because I was feeling a little bit uneasy. I was all ready to go in and 8:30 rolls around. All right, now it is 8:45. And now 8:53 a.m.

Needless to say I had called my lawyer’s cell phone five times and it went straight to voicemail each time. I was starting to feel very uneasy and pacing around like a caged lion.

I didn’t know what to do nor what was going to happen because this was a day where the jury trial was scheduled. If I didn’t show up, “How long is it going to take before the police were knocking at my door serving me my warrant and arresting me?”

At 8:53 a.m. he did show up and we went to the courtroom. I was definitely glad I didn’t leave any crazy or frantic messages on his machine to alienate him. He said it was all part of his strategy to show up on his terms and leave them waiting so that they would have to think “What is going on here?”

Now I should give you a little background here because you never want to flaunt the court when it comes time for your jury trial because this is very serious stuff. The one thing I wish he had done is inform me of his strategy beforehand and just told me he was going to show up at 10 till nine.

But I know him fairly well and we often talk about the ancient Roman empire and Sun Tzu’s Art of war as well as various negotiating tactics. He’s a guy who definitely likes to work the system and considers himself a modern-day gladiator so I wasn’t worried because I knew he would take care of the situation even if it was very bleak.

So he gets here and we go down to the court and he starts negotiating. I’m just sitting there twiddling my thumbs because like a dumb ass I forgot to bring a book to read. You know anything with the court system is going to take forever so plan ahead and bring reading material to get caught up on. Or at least your psp or personal gaming system.

Anyway I ended up talking with another woman there, actually a couple of women there. Neither of these women was a witch, (that I know of), but that made for a bette blog title.

One was there for a jury trial and the other one was there simply to pay a ticket. So she and I got to talking about tickets and what we were there for and the conversation turned to why these cops were being more aggressive to meet their quota and handing out lots more tickets in order to increase their revenue.

As the economy has turned sour lots of local government agencies are struggling with their budgets. So then of course the cops are being told to take it out on us. We got to talking about the crazy bogus scheme that was going on with the cops as well as the economy and the extremely skillfully planned out mind control the media has placed on us.

She was actually the first one to tell me not to focus on the negative and that there’s lots of prosperity out there. In thinking about it more this is pretty incredible because I have always focused on prosperity and abundance ever since starting my journey to improve my own mind and business.

I do believe the Law of attraction works and it’s based on science because what you focus on you bring into your life. I won’t go deep into the science but because of your reticular activated system when you focus on something your mind sees opportunities out in the world that you would have bypassed if you hadn’t been focusing on it.

This part of the brain allows you to see things which you’re actually thinking about and focusing on and filters out all the rest of the stuff going on around you because there is just too much stuff going on for you to take in all of it consciously.

So I found it amazing that of all the people sitting here in this courtroom in a drab and very dreary place where most people are incredibly fearful I would just happen to meet this woman who shared so much in common with me.

It just goes to show that you do attract what you think about and connect with people who are most similar to yourself because there is something subconsciously that they can sense in you that forms the initial bond and magnetically draws you together.

So focus on the profits you want and nothing else.
