Exit My Job - Say What?

I’ve been talking over the last 6 months with my friend Bryant Jones about once a week. Sometimes more but that’s about the average.

He’s been telling me wild stories about Thailand in particular:

1. Beautiful women
2. Late nights and fun parties
3. Kicking back and enjoying a laid back lifestyle

All this time he’s kept his 2 main clients and continues to work with them without a hitch.

He was able to get a local Thai number which is very hard to do because of the way their phone extensions work.

Apparently, their phone number structure only allows for a relatively small number of combinations and they’ve got a pretty sizable population in Thailand so the number of remaining combinations free is scarce. But he did mention in passing this one resource to use to acquire one and apparently this resource lets you get local numbers in any country.

So I was definitely intrigued by this as well as some of his other tactics to get you released from your job… because I know a lot of you reading still are stuck in the cube in corporate America and greatly desire to get out of that.

One of the biggest tips he gave was to figure out how you can be a consultant to your current company. Basically you’d work out of your home for a reduced number of hours and negotiated salary while transitioning into your own company with profits and cash flow.

There’s lots of creative ways to do this while also enjoying the kind of travel you’re looking for. I’ve been wrestling with his and my schedule to get him on a live call where he can talk about some of these tips and tactics he’s been using over the last six months to live this mobile lifestyle as well as give you an opportunity to ask questions you might have specific to your situation.
